New Konica Minolta bizhub C759 and bizhub C659 for High-Volume Color MFP Market


Konica Minolta just rolled out its new bizhub C759 and bizhub C659, two multifunction solutions for offices where speed and color quality are essential but production print equipment is not necessary. 

The new MFPs feature Konica Minolta’s InfoPalette control-panel design, and scan at 240 originals per minute (opm) in duplex mode, including:

  • Standard web browser to enable a wide range of applications
  • Tap-to-print from mobile devices with built-in Near Field Communication (NFC)
  • Cloud connectivity for scanning applications
  • Standard single-pass Dual Scanning at 240 opm
  • Wireless printing options
  • A variety of finishing options, such as stapling, 2- and 3-hole punch, booklet binding
  • 75 BW/65 color ppm print speed
  • High capacity 300-sheet document feeder
  • 10.1” color panel with a new mobile connectivity area
  • Standard 4 GB of memory
  • Secure network integration, data encryption, hard-disk-drive (HDD) overwrite, and advanced user authentication
  • Mobile and cloud solution connectivity via AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Wi-Fi Direct in addition to NFC, Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi

A rage of available options include:

  • 100-Sheet Staple Finisher with accessories for 80-page booklet-making, 2/3-hole punching, folding in multiple patterns including Z-fold
  • 50-sheet staple finisher for multi-position stapling and sorting, with optional for 80-page booklet-making and 2/3-hole punching
  • Large Capacity Unit with 2,500-sheet capacity in paper sizes up to 12” x 18”
  • Large Capacity Unit with 3,000-sheet capacity (8-1/2” x 11” paper)
  • EFI Fiery Image Controller with advanced color print management functions for graphics-intensive applications

With the standard Web browser and 4 GB of memory, the MFPs can be equipped with various apps downloaded from the Konica Minolta MarketPlace. Users can create a free account on the MarketPlace Web site and have immediate access to apps for scanning, printing, social networking, security, document management, and more.
