The year is 1983: Shirley Whitesides and fellow Delta Sigma Theta Sorority members pool their savings to buy a house, realizing their dream of providing a safe learning environment to those in need. 

This week’s non-profit client spotlight highlights OnTrack WNC Financial Education & Counseling, and their mission to help people achieve their money and housing goals through financial education, counseling and support so that they can overcome crises, afford basic needs, improve money management skills and make sound financial choices rooted in their values.
